It took 3 years but here is my restored 1952 M38A1

Post by Deadguyllc » Fri Sep 26, 2014 5:26 pm

Frame up restoration. Overdrive, PTO winch, RT70 radio, front and rear lockers, M series turn signal, deep water fording kit, and arctic heater added. Transmission, transfercase, and engine rebuilt. New brakes, rims, wheels, steering column, brakes, carb, cuno oil filter, fuel pump, gauges, and much more. Lot of bumps in the road getting there, but I love it now.

A lot of work, and it shows. I remember the frustrations you experienced.

Very nice Marine jeep! You did good! I also like the K-bar in the tool kit, never leave home with out it.
