Finally, a barn fresh M38!

Post by cthal » Tue Oct 23, 2012 5:26 pm

For years I have wanted to find an M38 that is original and not rotted out. My dad was in Korea, and had good things to say about them (And the Bell helicopter that he got one ride in). Well, I was at an auto swap meet, and for once got there really early. I came across a really solid M38 that had just been hauled out of a barn, where it had sat for many years. In a short time I had made a deal. I hope to have this Jeep till I am an old man (Getting closer..) and I am looking forward to driving it. So is my daughter! Her first driving experience was in our CJ2A in the hay meadow when she was eight. So I will be having a lot of questions I am sure, but look forward to the adventure. Here are a few pics. H.

Vaše M38A1 je velmi příjemné! Země silnice, řídíte na jsou krásné. Já bych rád na návštěvu takové místo.

Or as I tried to say, your M38A1 is a very nice and solid Jeep. I once had one like it. And the forest roads you get to drive it on are something I can't easily find here in Connecticut. Hal

I also drive a Dnepr sidecar rig. I have seen sidecar motorcycle tours advertized in some countries near there. I look forward to retirement....and hope I can still ride then! Hal

The good thing about having alot of old jeeps is,it makes it more difficult for your wife to tell when you bring another one home.
