Nice work. I'd be concerned with that rear brake line though. Looks a bit tight.

The engine looks great did you use any primer on the block?
My engine is at the machine shop now and I will be painting it soon.
Looking for some tips.
Thanks,
Dave

The block got coated first with VHT high temp black ceramic paint. Few coats of it, then I went over it with 2 coats of od.Dave M38A1 wrote:The engine looks great did you use any primer on the block?

Yeah the front is on jack stands along with the rear. That line is at full Suspension droop, so thats the max it goes. It's a bit snug and I might change out. It's not that tight at ride height.Bretto wrote:Nice work. I'd be concerned with that rear brake line though. Looks a bit tight.

Front axle is all done. Finally after 23 months it's a roller. Maybe on the road by August....

Got the body stencils done today. Used Rick at Miltary Stencils. Great quality and prices.

If I had Your Jeep, I would knock out a wall in my house and park it in the living room, so I could look at it instead of TV Very Nice
1951 M38 plus 4
The good thing about having alot of old jeeps is,it makes it more difficult for your wife to tell when you bring another one home.

Wow, you've done an extraordinary job on that.
Does it drive as nicely as it looks?
