September 2012 Dutch Military Vehicle Preservation Association organized a Red Ball Express tour over 70 Miles, bringing 80 GMC's and 55 other heavy loaders on the road! Wreckers and ambulances were not missing, Jeeps were leading the way. Half way's stop catered white beans in tomato sause and black coffee!
All done in respect for the Red Bal, Express drivers...........
Please enjoy the variety of trucks.

I was snowed in today......not often I can say that, as I live on the coast of North Carolina. I watched the video twice today, it was that good. Where did that group find that many Ben Hur trailers? They must give them out as door prizes!

Frank, Ben Hur trailers are for sale in Europe and especially in Holland left, right and centre.............
For € 200 ($250) you easily buy a restorable trailer. A BH Trailer belongs to the standard GMC or Dodge accessorie, as they are used for sleeping or tent-transport.

Lots of great hardware! Thanks for posting.

I didn't see a single black guy though.

Robert
I have had about 3 Ben Hur trailers. My current one is a very nice 1945 wooden Ben Hur found in Norway. That is just a great video of that many trucks towing trailers.

PS, the second Ben Hur trailer I owned was one sat up to be towed by a Dodge weapons carrier as it had a spare tire carrier under the bed. I had to sell it when I got orders to Japan.

Thanks for posting the link of the
Red Ball event. Fun to watch while
waiting for warmer weather so I
can get the trucks going again.
