Here is a photo of 9th AAF Chevy's in Germany 1945. The closest one appears to be a mobile control tower . look at the bubble on top with a guy standing in it.

Appears to be an upper turret from B-17, B-24, B-25, etc.. Note the 9th AF bumper marking.

I found another G506 mobile control truck . The side panel on the engine compartment seems to be from a deuce and the tires look like hiway type. The second is of the controllers at work in the truck.
