Not bad, The body appears to be in pretty good shape. Interesting front fenders. You have a pretty good vehicle there to work with.

Ram,
many thanks for posting the photos of your vehicle. It looks pretty good to me....and it's the Ambulance version, too...my favourite !!!
I assume it's an AM General-built version. Did you buy it directly from the military or did you import it? Any idea as to what year it is?
ps... Did you sort out the distributor wiring ok?
Ken

Hi Rick ... True the body is really good and needs a little of repair and painting ... Also, the chassis under the car has a very little rusty points which I am going to take care of ... You are right the fender is kind of weird a little bit because I could not locate a M718A1 with a similar fender even after Googling M718A1 or M151 many times
Hi Ken ... Thanks for replying to this post ... Yes it is an AM General-built version ... No I bought it from a friend who I think was working in the military or at least has a connection ... As far as the model I really do not know ... I was trying to read all the plates around the car to find any trace to the year of making with no luck ... I remember there is something you guys call it the data plate ... would this help identifying the vehicle? and where can I find it? ... No Ken I did not have to fix the distributor yet ... But I will try to do something about it today hopefully but thanks for asking
Hi 199th MP ... No problem at all ... Yes you are right it is really hard to find (at least in my region here) !!
Bottom line guys ... I have a major improvement and enhancement plan for this car but I am waiting for it to walk on the road first ... and there will be a second round of photos but that time it will be the AFTER photos
Than you all for your replies !!!

yes, the dataplate. This is the plate that may explain the date or age of your vehicle:-
If you take a good clear photo of the plate, it will help determine the year.
If you need some pictures of M718A1 vehicles, let me know and I'll put them on the board. They were sent to me by my friend Mori in Japan and they are very good quality photos of new, complete ambulances.ramilolah wrote: Hi Rick ... The first four pics posted by Ken were taken in the Philippines sometime from mid to late 80's.
These ambulance mutts were most likely donated by the US to the Philippine Army.
