I know some people here would rather fire up a tractor then use their jeep for something helpful..... but that ain't me :D
This was a very solid heavy tree we had to take down today. Gave the jeep a tiny workout helping the tree go the direction we wanted it to fall.

Great pics. The WWII jeep more than likely was worked harder in surplus post war civilian service than when in military service. Very nice clean jeep. :)

No doubt CJV. Somewhere there is a photo of my dad plowing with his GPW. I would love to find that photo.

I have a 1945 MB that was demobbed by the US forces in France in 1955, and owned from 1955 to 1971 by a timber company in the forests north-west of St.Tropez in S.France.
