The pics a bit distorted, but is the frame lengthened? Are the directional signals a requirement?

He put the wooden door on , because at a show, some kids got inside it and damaged it slightly while his back was turned, no respect im afraid. If its the shows i attend , we all keep our eyes open for each other. Still its a really nice example of a stretch jeep. :D :D Sorry about the distortion, it was my first upload i have managed, i had to reduce the picture size, my daughter usually does it for me. I think im getting clever with computers at long, long last. :o

My secret weapon for the nosy is a mouse trap or a rat trap in the glove box, depending on the crowd. I used to have some 2" X 6" magnetic signs requesting spectators keep their feet on the ground, they got stolen.

No glove box on an original body is early enough to be Slat Grill. I do not have the data right in front of me. Someone will jump in.

In i jump Ben, yes its a Slattie, Canadian contract CDLV 242. Its 95% original, and all correct for that contract, and like all jeeps, a real head turner. A real obsession. :D :D Manufactured on 13 Feb 1942, serial no. 119696.

Regarding the directional signals Ben, or indicators as we call them, the ruling over here is if the vehicle was never fitted with them , then they are not required, although a lot of owners do fit them for safety reasons. The same rule also applies for seat belts, if they werent fitted, you dont have to have them. And all pre 1961 vehicles do not have to have an M.O.T. (thats a roadworthy certificate). :P
