Re: Laurel & Hardy's Jeep
Its not a Willys MA or a Bantam BRC, so what is it ? And what ever happened to great comedy like that ?

Re: Laurel & Hardy's Jeep
It looks like a studio props department cobble up from a Ford model B four cylinder. there's no front axle drive, and you can at times just glimpse the Ford transverse spring front axle. and if you look further you will see what looks like a 1932 ford grille behind the brushcover.
I guess when the film was made, jeeps were too scarce and valuable to loan out to movie companies.

Re: Laurel & Hardy's Jeep
It was a movie prop made just special for the Laurel and Hardy film. More Bantam than anything else. But I'll still bet most would give anything to own it.

Re: Laurel & Hardy's Jeep
Why isn't the "V" on the Jeep at 1min45 not the same as in the beginning ??
2 jeeps ? They wrecked one ?...?
