M-5A1 versus M3A4 cart size

Post by MAJ Tim » Tue Dec 12, 2017 11:18 am

All,

I'm try to determine if the M4A3 cart bodies were the same size as the M5A1, M-6A1 etc cart bodies. I know the M5A1 has a two piece side panel versus the single panel on the M4A3. I have also read that the carts were the same size and the accessories made it the different models. This can't be completely true because of the M-5A1 having the two piece sized. It is probably taller.

Also does anyone have a picture of the axle to body bracket for the straight axle carts like the M5A1. It appears the center bracket in the middle of the cart is the same, but the two side brackets are different.

Thanks

LTC Tim

All of the carts are the same size. Early models have 2 piece sides and later models one piece. But they are all the same height, width, and length.
