Nut Assembly Removal tool found

Post by hershmeister » Tue Oct 17, 2017 6:09 pm

I found this spanner wrench at Numrich and it fits perfectly for removing the hand cart nut assembly

they refer to it as a 50 cal water cooled packing ring adjustment wrench

PS: Newbie here at g503 - thanks for the add - working on a resoration of an M3a4 cart which was upgraded to an M4a1version - the cart I have was found at a local pawn shop and had the lunette chopped in half - tires had been replaced and the bolts non-removable - so my winter project is to drill the bolts out, tear it down to its component parts, remove the cut lunette and replace with a new one from Ed along with his pull handle and MG brackets -

Will post some pics soon - have a couple of questions on what appears to be some missing parts from the axle assembly - will need the wisdom of the group too find replacements.

thanks!
