Saved from the scrapper
My son and I normally collect Cold War/Vietnam era gear, but yesterday my dad showed me an M3A4 (John Wood 1943) hand cart that he saved from going to the scrap man. One wheel is pretty badly rusted and of course the drawbar is missing but the rest of it seems to be there and easily restorable, including the shaft and lunette. Some fool welded angle iron uprights in each corner and the slats are a little bowed, but those issues appear easily enough sorted. I may be in the market for a replacement wheel if this one can't be rescued. I'll post pictures if anyone's interested once I can get them downloaded off my phone.
