>>motorcycle trailer or Hand cart<<

Post by Bob at Warsaw » Sat Dec 19, 2009 4:31 pm

Hi Group
I just got this trailer or hand cart today, and was wondering
what it really is. A few have told me a hand cart, and a few
have said motorcycle trailer, and I dont know. Here is the
first picture, and my CPU is slow so I will post the others
just as soon as they upload. Please you tell me what I have
Thanks

I believe that on an old war picture I saw soldiers pulling these. It was a wwI or wwII documentory. There were horses in use that the officers were riding along side.

That is a Swedish cart and SG was selling them a little while back, I think they ended up for around 400 at the end. Set up was for horsedrawn and it came with all the pioneer tools. Very sturdy rig

I have 3 of them. They are supposedly Swiss not Swedish. The data plate shown confirms this.
I posted a close-up of the data plate which shows this as a 1916 build, my others are 1917's.
It has 3 layers of paint. The color just under the OD is German dark field gray. These trailers are virtually identical to the German Army model.
Are there any Swiss or German speaking members who can determine if the data plate is written in Swiss vs German?
