Sorry if that has been answered before but I couldn't find much or links were dead.
There is what appeared to be a PE-95 for sale locally for 350$. Really tempting but before buying it I'd love to know more about it and unfortunately the seller is not really knowledgeable.
Photos below. Has 3-prong electrical connectors so I'm guessing post-war?
I'd love to restore it as a PE-95, not just rip the engine.

I am not real familiar with the individual details of the PE95 series of generator sets but looking at the waterproof distributor housing I would say this is probably a post war PE 95 K model. Take a look at the casting number under the distributor. IF it is 641087 the block is definitely post war. Also if the serial number is stamped on the top of the water pump mounting boss this would indicate a post war block. Now block may have been changed out but u would need to ask the owner that. Alright thanks! I think I'll pass, too many bits missing on the engine and the side panels and value is less than I thought they'd go for once restored.
