Hobart M-5 & modern trailer for sale (NJ)
My M-5 generator is now available for sale... It is unrestored, 95% complete, includes extra parts from another genny(spare pallet base, most of another outer casing, spare panel, radiator, etc) and includes a Harbor Freight trailer it is currently mounted to. The engine runs well, but last time I ran it, seemed to not be governing properly: this may be due to dirty brushes, or something, not sure- I haven't had a chance to look into it.
$500. as she sits, with all the extra bits. I just have to throw the lights & coupler on to her to be ready to tow(I hadn't done so, as I only had it as a yard trailer so I could move the genny as necessary...)
Anyway, need the money more than the genny, to make sure I keep the house...
Located in Merchantville, NJ.
Pics available, PM if interested

The guy above never replied to PMs, I spoke with him once, sent photos & a video, got no response. I'm going to scrap the spare case parts & generator section, spare engine is already gone. I will probably e-bay the other bits such as gen panel, parts boxes, radiator, and then simply correct the idle issues with the working one.

ng19delta, Do you happen to have a spare air cleaner for the Hercules zxb engine? I need one for my E-3 Generator, I will pay you for it. Please let me know. Dave.

Anything left of this? I was just kicking over the idea of using the hollow shell of one of these to hide our modern little Honda genny at reenactments. Sure it's a lot of extra sheet metal. But it was an idea that came into my head.

Just saw the note: I have a skid & housing I am about to scrap. (Probably keep the skid part for an engine run stand if I scrap the rest...) PM me if interested...
