Hi Guys,
To take apart a Trico SK series wiper motor you have to remove the little bolts securing the top cover to the body. The head of these bolts is a small oval with flat sides, not a hex or phillips. If you've ever looked at a motor you know what I'm talking about. Does anyone know what the socket is called that fits that bolt head??? I know a small pair of pliers or an adjustable wrench will loosen them..........but I'd like to find the correct socket for these bolts. So does anyone know what that head shape or what the tool to remove them is called?
thanks,
bob

Double D head similar to layer auto carb adjusting screws
Trico might have made a tool but It's probably made of unobtainium. Grind down an old flat blade screw driver and slot it to fit. Or use flat nosed pliers like everyone else. HTH

take a piece of round tube and press it to suit, weld a cross piece on the opposite end.
