Mark the 2nd and 4th Marine divisions were in the invasion of Saipan, my Marine contract jeep 37141 has the same inverted white triangle in the same spot on the windshield but but as I’ve mentioned before according to the early WW2 Marine Corp UNIS markings the white triangle was used by the 5th Marine Regiment 1st Div in the early parts of the war although I think theirs wasn’t inverted. Then the Corps changed their UNIS markings midway through the war. Javier 2/14 Marine posted a good detailed write up on this, check on USMC 37141jeep. Thanks
