Royal Navy jeep

Can anyone identify what type of jeep this is, year etc. the caption reads 'Londonderry 1942 MA'

Thanks Pete, my theory too. I noticed the early bumperetts and no combat rims also. What do you suppose that is where the light switch normally is?

I'm pretty sure that's the park brake handle. This is probably a good picture to link or post in the BRC MA GP protoype section, - there are owners of the rare MA that visit that section from time to time that may not have seen the pic you posted.
I may have met you some time ago, maybe Yeovilton or possibly Cranmore? Have been too busy lately and have only managed to get to W & P R this year! I will try and get to Lacock one of the days 16th/17th August.

I think you could be right about the park brake handle Pete, I'm not up on the MA type of jeep.

We might have met at Cranmore, but that would have been some time ago. I live just outside of Glastonbury. Where are you?
