Tanks to Russia

Post by REG » Tue Jun 24, 2014 5:09 am

Somewhere in Britain.

Various shots of British-built tanks being put through a final test drive before being shipped to Russia.

Women factory workers in overalls seal all the doors and apertures of a tank, to ensure complete insulation against the deteriorating effects of sea water, humidity and climatic conditions during the sea voyage. Quick shots of instructions in Russian that have been painted on the tanks.

The tanks are then driven onto freight train wagons and start their journey towards Russia.
