The weather conditions here are similar to what is shown in the photos, except:
I have a heated vehicle to drive in.
Clean clothes to wear.
Hot meals of all I want to eat.
A warm comfortable bed to sleep in.

Thanks to their sacrifices.
Roy

And no one is trying to kill you on purpose either. In the book Bastogne the First Eight Days , there is a report of a conversation between Colonel Joseph Harper and Lt. Colonel Ray Allen. Col. Harper "How are you doing on your left?" Lt. Col. Harper "Good, we have 2 jeeps out there"

That third picture is the only period photo I have ever seen of a jeep with the inner windscreen in a raised position. Must be others but I've never found one.

The guy on the side had to have something to hang on to. It's also handy for stretchers.

sorry about that. I meant the 4rth pic. The one with the soldier standing outside the jeep. The hat looks Korean War vintage.

I have two of them marked Cap, Field, Pile M1951, and Cap, Field, Pile MQ1, both are identical. MQ1 may be earlier than Korea. WWII M-1943 Version had pile liner on the visor. Hard to tell from the photo.

Fairly sure that is a KW picture because of hat and trigger finger mittens.

Trigger Finger Mittens were Issue in WWII. There were two or three styles listed in QM3-1 Enlisted Men's Clothing and Equipment, Aug, 1943.

I think you are right.
All pictures should be " battle of the Bulge " pictures.

I've got more. I can post them if people wants to see them.
