Jeep in Siegfried Line defenses

My Uncle Joe, a WWII Ranger, who raised me, led recon patrols across the Siegfried Line in the late summer of 1944 in advance of later Allied troop crossings. He was attached to the 28th Infantry Division.

The above took place just about 70 years ago this month, I'll take a few moments today to have a seat in my MB and remember the brave soldiers who fought to make this a free world.
