On my M-38A1 the triangle within the circle was the OD color of the Jeep, they probably did not follow the spec.
Neat insignia, and unique. I think I will mark my present M-38A1 using the 6" Trigon insignias as found on the Ft Devens M-38A1 I bought in 1966 using a non gloss vinyl type made up at the sign shop down the road.

Wouldn't surprise me. Like I posted earlier, the one on my M59 was pink

Note the factory Vinyl Seat Covers even on the Early M-38 Jeeps with the low USA Registration numbers.

The chic in the M-38 deserves the credit, without her there would have been fewer pics.

Love this series of photos on "Agressor" Jeeps, note the Vinyl Seat Covers, Goodyear NDCC, Tire Valve Stem Protectors, original Factory M-38 2" USA Registrations precisely 1" above the bottom of the hood..

And you can add Crapper to the list for perfecting the toilet a hundred years earlier than Whittle's jet engine.

Whittle patented his first, Germans were developing theirs at the same time.
And the italians flew the first jet, albeit with a radial engine powering the compressor.

The photos of 'Operation Longhorn' posted here on Lampasas' courtyard square in 1952. There were internments, a parachute drop, and armor movements throughout the ounty. Lampasas was occupied by 'Aggressor' forces and later liberated. The museum has other photos of the exercise, some can be viewed on our website, lampasascountymuseum.org on the exhibits page. There are a number of people that participated still alive that can tell about what happened. We don't have that much information on the military side of the story, any references you have would be appreciated.

You could NEVER get that kind or level of cooperation from a town nowadays- everyone is too selfish to take the good of the nation and put it first! All about "what can I get" and me-me-me. Disgusting.
