That is the Alabama state flag flying on the left bumper of the first jeep photo and I think George Wallace's wife Lurleen standing in it. The second photo is George Wallace who was governor of Alabama several times as well as Lurleen who ran and became Governor when George had served two terms and could not run again. She died of cancer in office in the late sixties I think? I would put the pictures at sometime in the sixties.

Also, noticed the jeep behind George's jeep has what looks like 31 X. I figure that is the 31st Infantry Dixie Division national Guard unit.

Chrome Reflector Bezels on the M-38A1 with the hubcaps. Also appears to be a chrome bumper from a CJ-5 Tuxedo Park Jeep. the hubcaps appear to be fronts made for the free wheeling hub option which was Warn on the Tuxedo Park Option. If I were the assigned driver, there would have been Chromed B-Model Mack Headlamp Doors on this Jeep, they are same manufacture as used on M-38, M-38A1, pre 1962 M-35 and M-54.
