I personally looked at the frame serial number and glovebox serial numbers and they did not match on the MB. Whiched made me wonder about its origin? The MB DOD was 1945 per the glovebox (Can't remember month? April/May?). One of the real documented Patton jeeps is in the Fort Lee, Virginia Quartermaster Museum. Also, Fort Lee has a WWII Trailer that is one of two that General Eisenhower used for meetings, office, and sleeping quarters.
Serial Number 1 Ford Pigmy prototype in its original paint and running condition resides at the Veterans Memorial Museum in Huntsville, Alabama. I figure Henry Ford rode in it at some point while the jeep was being invented?
Found a picture! Patton's Jeep in Fort lee Museum, thanks for the leads, i'm off sick after a small accident and this is helping the boredom!!!!
