Hello: Can someone tell me what, if any, type of plug went into these holes on my M38? Thank you, John

Going from memory on this.
There are two 3/8" NC Bolts used where the holes line up with the inner support bracket for the side panel, They are referred to in Section 1500 of the ORD 9. It is an appendage from the CJ-3A and is actually used in instances when the spare tire is mounted on the RH side of M-38's. I can't remember if a flat washer is used under the head or split lock washer.
Am sure one of the G-503 members with an M-38 can give a better answer, :wink:
