I have a 1984 CUCV Blazer . Does anyone here have or know where I might find a military grill for one ? I would also like to find a tailgate that isnt rusted out with a good window and hand crank .

Thanks,

snipertn

Good luck on the tailgate, your best bet is to get a LMC catalog for the body parts. The grill is a standard grill just cut out for the blackout light and slave connector.

wouldn't the tail gate be the same as a civilian model? i know the window is readily available, and so is the regulator (crank assembly's proper name). i would look around the wrecking yards.

Tailgates on the Blazers were famous for rotting out, It is going to be tough finding a used one. Maybe somewhere in the southwest but I would guess they have all been spoken for by now. They tended to rot out in ten or fifteen years and the newest blazers with that gate are 88's or 89's I think. 26 years ago.

I have one on it now , but it is a power rear window w/12 volt motor in it . I will have to wire it in somehow on the 12 volt side or to one battery . It doesnt have any rot in it that I can find , just a small crack on top RH side that I have already stop drilled . I will have it welded and ground down before I paint it back to Mil colors .

Just take out the power regulator and put in a manual one, those will be available in junkyards and new. Junkyard would have all the associated hardware to go with it like the handle.

If your junkyard search doesn't pan-out I have an N.O.S. regulator and clutch...
