where can I get a set of locking hubs for my 1944 gpw, please

New ones are still available from Warn and AVM but used ones are readily available.

Welcome to the Gee, Philr!

If your GPW still has the threaded axle shafts and you want to stay with those shafts, then the hub search is a bit more complex. Not many locking hubs were designed for the threaded axle shafts. The "tall" Dualmatics are but they tend to be a little spendy these days. You might consider swapping a set of post-war axle shafts. They slip right in and you can choose from a much larger variety of hubs from ebay or wherever.
