Bought a group of WWII era Popular Science magazines. Stumbled across this article for a target jeep for training bomber machine gunners. Was in a September 1942 edition. Now that would be a cool project!

I would be the guy driving when some under achiever would load live rounds on...... Edit..I just got my glasses out and read what I could. Apparently they drive behind a wall that protects the jeep. That driver would be the guy that upset the CO.
