Nice looking Vickers K! Did you have any drawings to go by or did you "wing it"? I can recommend some CAD-drawings that I purchased myself a few weeks ago. This guy has plans to make a whole range of machine guns and other weapons. You buy the set of plans and print them out in full 1:1 scale. You need to have a company that provides a copying service to do it, unless you can print A1 and A2 at home? He offers plans for the cal .50 and cal .30, among others. The finished machine guns look awesome! And they can be modified to "gas firing".

There's something special with a machine gun replica that weighs about the same as the original gun.

A special forces Jeep has been on my "to-do" list for years now. I hope to be able to replicate one of Jeeps belonging to PPA, or Popski's Private Army, a small (very small) unit created in North Africa by a Polish ex pat living in Egypt.

The PPA Jeeps were similar in layout to the SAS and LRDG one's, but carried the heavier US 50 cal, and the smaller US 30 cal, as opposed to the SAS/LRDG who seemed to prefer the Vickers K as main armament. The PPA also carried the two spare tires in the back in tandem and not side by side.

Yep - that's where I got the plans from - they save a lot of work

Did a bit more this afternoon
