2008 MVPA Convention in Portland, Oregon August 13-17. It will be at the Multnomah County Expo Center. (Same place as the 1998 & 1996 MVPA Conventions) But in a brand new 72,000 sq. ft. air conditioned building! Not only will this be an outstanding convention just like the last 2 the MVCCO hosted, we plan on a DUKW tour on the Columbia River on Sunday! We plan to have 7 or 8 DUKWs in the water. The show is located at the Bristow Municipal Airport. FRI 26 SEP is a participant arrival/set up day, SAT the 27th the Public Event day, and SUN 28th SEP a pack up and travel home day. This show is a dynamic show that includes battle reanactments, military vehicle & equipment displays, vintage military aircraft (fixed wing and helicopters)static display and flight demos, military related swap meet area, trail ride/convoy, consessions, and other entertainment.
