The Military Transportation Association will host a military vehicle show and militaria sale at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, NJ on the weekend of April 17 & 18, 2010. Historic military vehicles from World War II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars, and the Gulf Wars will be on display and more than 75 vendors will be selling military related clothing, equipment, and vehicle parts and accessories. The show is open to the public. The show will be open Saturday from 8 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 8 AM to 3 PM. Food and parking are available at the show. Admission is $5.00 and parking is FREE! The Sussex County Fairgrounds is located on Plains Road in Augusta, just off Route 206 in Sussex County, New Jersey.

The largest annual MV rally and swap meet in the West is at the Stockton Delta KOA, on a river 6 miles west of I-5 on State Route 12 near Lodi, CA. The Military Vehicle Collectors of California has hosted the big Spring Meet since 1978. Typically over 200 MVs and many pro and amateur vendors. Full hookup and dry camping, KOA Kabins, plus motels 6 miles away. Restaurant, bar, store, marina, boat ramp on site. Free, large vendor space with your campsite rental. Free spectator admission. Free living history camping. Free military display-only space. Dinners available in campground Thurs-Sat. Special activities include "Jeep Evolution - One of Each" with over 25 models and sub-models, plus armored cars, staff cars, medical vehicles, Army artillery demo unit, Carter carb rebuilding seminar, Friday night party/dance, Madames Afternoon Tea, and a British Abn display is tentative. Information: Jeep Beach® 2010 May 12th – 16th, 2009 Are you ready for another great Jeep Beach™ in Daytona? Last year, over 350 Jeepers filled their Jeep® with family and friends. This year will be BIGGER and BETTER – we are expecting 600 Jeepers for Jeep Beach™ 2010! Back by popular demand, the main event will be in the infield of Daytona International Speedway and the host hotel will be on the BEACH! As host of Jeep Beach™, the Mid-Florida Jeep Club has extended our fun filled weekend to five days. All activities are geared for all Jeep® owners with lights round or square from stock to those with added hardware. With the setting being next to Lake Lloyd and the updated and improved obstacle courses, this will be an event to remember! You won’t want to miss the fastest growing JEEP ONLY event in the Southeast. Pre-registration begins on January 1st at www.jeepbeach.com. All participants who pre-register by April 2nd will be eligible for a discounted admission, will receive periodic updates on the event, and will be entered into a special raffle prize drawing (minimum prize amount of $400). Discounts will be provided to all pre-registered Jeep Beach participants. Thursday – May 13th Jeep Beach 2010 Scavenger Hunt This event is currently being planned – more details to follow. It will be held on Saturday May 15 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Bay Street in historic Old Town Florence. There will be displays from all three sponsors as well as other military and Veteran organizations. Daymns Hall Aerodrome, Upminster, Essex again opens its gates on the 7th & 8th August for a weekend for the Essex MVT Military and Flying Machines Show. For all show participants camping over the weekend, we have increased onsite facilities and confirmed "Texas Tommy" for saturday night entertainment which will be in our 700 person marquee. This year’s event marks the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, and pays homage to the brave men and women of the 1940s. The event will be opened by a local WW2 veteran who will start proceedings by firing the 25pdr field gun. The 1940’s will be revisited with displays of three life-size replica Spitfires, over 250 vintage military vehicles, including a "Dragon Wagon" an armored vehicle parade, and for the first time since the war an example of every military vehicle that was produced locally at Fords Dagenham plant will be reunited. There will also be dazzling aircraft displays including a WW2 Spitfire and a Messerschmitt 108. There will also be an opportunity to meet over 50 living history groups, creating an exceptional atmosphere at this memorable event. Over 10,000 people attended last year and hopefully this year will be better than before.
